I`m from Abovyan.It`s town in front of Yerevan,and it is 20 minutes from Yerevan to Abovyan so I always go to visit my grandparents.In Abovyan I have many friends.In Abovyan my favorite fast-food restaurant is <Tashir Pizza>, because there`s no other fast food testaurant like KFC,Burger King and others.

And there`s some intersting facts about Abovyan.

1.Abovyan is sometimes called the «northern gate» of Yerevan.

2.The materials found from the excavations prove that Abovyan was inhabited since BC. From the end of the 4th millennium. In the south of Abovyan there are B.C. cyclopean fortress, settlement and tombs of the 2nd-1st millennium.

3.Since 1961 Abovyan was named <Elar>.But <Elar> was renamed in honor of Khachatur Abovyan.

4.»Kotayk» brewery is one of the famous industrial centers.
